Celastrus scandens / American Bittersweet

An aggressive vine that can climb trees and reach up to 25 ft. Without something to climb on, it will cover surrounding vegetation. Clusters of white flowers ripen into orange/red fruit surrounded by orange seed coats, which support birds in the winter months.
