A fragile annual but a super-seeder once established, the orange tubular flowers attract bees and hummingbirds. The seed capsules explode at the slightest touch; earning its secondary common name Touch-me-not and a favourite plant for kids! The watery sap is also used as an antidote to poison ivy rash.
